Course Overview
Delegates will gain a basic understanding of first aid and what to
do in the event of an emergency. Highfield’s Emergency First Aid
e-learning course gives learners the opportunity to undertake
online first aid training to replace three hours of the one-day emergency
first aid at work programme.
If you wish to complete the full qualification, you will need to
attend the additional hours with us to demonstrate the full one day
of learning.
Course Content
• Understanding the role and responsibilities of a first aider
• Assessing an incident
• Managing an unresponsive casualty
• Recognising and assisting a choke casualty
• Managing a casualty – external bleeding and shock
• Managing a casualty – minor injury
Learners will receive a Highfield e-learning completion certificate,
which is downloadable upon successfully finishing the course.
