Course Overview

Validated by Highfield Qualifications, this course covers the core competencies of the UK Resuscitation Council and is designed to instruct delegates in the use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). There are no special entry requirements, delegates must complete a course workbook and their practical skills will be continuously assessed by the trainer.

• The recovery position

• The safe use of a defibrillator

• Operating a defibrillator
